About Limitless Labs

Limitless Labs is building the AI co-pilot for CNC programming, helping manufacturers automate and accelerate machining processes directly inside their existing CAM environments.

We are a rapidly expanding, top-VC-backed startup with an exceptionally talented core team. In under 18 months, we have raised over $25M and are actively collaborating with major global manufacturers in the Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, and Industrial Machinery sectors.

About the Role

You'll join a hands-on, execution-driven team where ownership is real, pace is fast, and impact is immediate.

Technical Leadership

  • Drive the full lifecycle: problem formulation, literature and approach evaluation, prototyping, productization, validation, and continuous improvement
  • Set and enforce engineering best practices: code quality, testing, benchmarking, reproducibility, and documentation
  • Make pragmatic trade-offs between accuracy, robustness, runtime performance, and time-to-delivery
  • Remain hands-on: personally design, write, and review algorithmic code (a meaningful share of your time stays in the codebase)

People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of algorithm engineers; own hiring, onboarding, and career development
  • Run effective 1:1s, set clear goals, give continuous feedback, and manage performance
  • Foster a culture of technical rigor, ownership, and knowledge-sharing

Planning & Collaboration

  • Break down large, ambiguous initiatives into clear, trackable work; own sprint and roadmap planning in Jira
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, QA, and other stakeholders to align technical decisions with business goals
  • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on algorithm development experience
  • 3+ years leading a team of 5 or more engineers, including direct people-management responsibility
  • Strong, practical background in both deep learning and classical machine learning: model design, training, evaluation, and deployment in production
  • Expert-level Python and its scientific stack (NumPy, pandas, TensorFlow) with a solid grasp of software-engineering fundamentals (clean code, testing, version control, code review)
  • Proven expertise in one or more of: computer graphics, computational geometry, geometry processing, or 3D algorithmic modelling (e.g. meshes, point clouds, surface reconstruction, spatial data structures, geometric transformations)
  • Experience decomposing complex problems into structured, plannable work and managing delivery with tools such as Jira (Agile/Scrum)
  • Track record of shipping algorithmic products to production, not just prototypes or research
  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (higher degrees a plus)

Bonus

  • Experience with additional ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch) and geometric/3D deep learning (point-cloud networks, graph neural networks, mesh-based learning)
  • Background in numerical optimization, constraint solving, or simulation
  • Experience with cloud, containerization (Docker), CI/CD, and MLOps practices

Who You Are

  • Methodical and rigorous: you approach hard problems in a structured, evidence-driven way and hold your work to a high standard
  • Big-picture oriented: you connect low-level technical decisions to product outcomes and long-term architecture, without losing sight of details that matter
  • A strong communicator: you explain complex ideas clearly, build alignment across teams, and give feedback that helps people grow
  • A force multiplier: you make the engineers around you better and raise the bar for the whole team

Why Join Us

  • Opportunity to lead a product at the forefront of the Physical AI revolution
  • Work on cutting-edge technology for real-world manufacturing
  • Small, high-caliber team where your work has immediate impact
  • Flexible hybrid/remote environment and ownership over your function
