About Limitless Labs

Limitless Labs is building the AI co-pilot for CNC programming, helping manufacturers automate and accelerate machining processes directly inside their existing CAM environments.

We are a rapidly expanding, top-VC-backed startup with an exceptionally talented core team. In under 18 months, we have raised over $25M and are actively collaborating with major global manufacturers in the Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, and Industrial Machinery sectors.

About the Role

Our algorithm team develops the core intelligence: 3D perception, machining strategy optimization, physics-aware models, and more. We're looking for a Senior Algorithm Developer with a strong background in both classical and deep learning methods.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, release, and improve algorithms and models for recommending optimal machining operations balancing cycle time, tolerances, and tool wear
  • Dive deep into the CNC machining domain to inform algorithm development decisions
  • Collaborate with the Product team to improve human-AI interaction
  • Own your models in production: validate solutions against real-world machining scenarios
  • Research novel approaches to continuously improve core technology

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in classical algorithms, deep learning, or ML model training and evaluation
  • Experience releasing and monitoring algorithms and models in production
  • Ability to reason about 3D geometry, machining tolerances, and manufacturing constraints
  • BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
  • US citizenship or Green Card (required for ITAR-regulated work)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with open-source 3D geometry libraries (OpenCASCADE, Trimesh, PyTorch3D, OpenVDB)
  • Experience with computational geometry, graph algorithms, or scheduling optimization
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes (milling, turning, or both)
  • Experience in toolpath generation or CAD/CAM internals
